LADY'S COCO CLASSIC

Cook-off Competition

Let’s cook (and EAT) for a cause & adopt a school!

Lady’s Coco Classic is looking for candidates to participate in the love of cooking, Louisiana style, with the gratitude to help our children with Autism and sensory needs. Get their voices heard with your help by supporting schools, teachers, and individuals in the Tri Parish area.

Our Louisiana Style Cook-off is open to any dish, cooked anyway. This competition is packed with opportunity to earn bragging rights!

  • Keeping with our traditional support of Louisiana Seafood, there will be a special, judge-chosen award for any dish cooked with Louisiana Seafood – Lady’s CoCo Seafood Grand Prize Winner.
  • We will have a People’s Choice Award that will include all dishes (seafood and non-seafood). This will be judged based on the taste buds of attendees who will have the opportunity to sample your dish.
  • Our additional competition, Best Decorated, will be judged based upon our panel of judges.

Judges will be at the discretion of the committee. The seafood dish awarded the Grand Prize will not be eligible for the People’s Choice Award.

  4. You must use bottled water for adding water to your dish- no hose water.
  5. All teams are expected to maintain their cooking sites in an orderly and clean manner and to use good sanitary practices during the preparation, cooking, and judging process (serving). Sanitary gloves are always required while handling food. Failure to use sanitary gloves may result in disqualification. Teams are responsible for cleaning their sites once the competition has ended.
